As I often do on Fridays, I had a strong desire to make a burger when I got home from work. While I have made tuna and regular burgers in the past to meet this desire, I wanted to do something a bit different. After spending more time than my boss would probably like thinking about it at work, I settled on a buffalo chicken burger. It ended up being really satisfying given the nice heat and creamy blue cheese spread.

This past Friday, we wanted an appropriate venue for to watch the first Yankees vs. Red Sox game of the season. Over a year ago, we went to Maxie’s Grill, the junior restaurant to Angelo & Maxie’s Steakhouse. The place has an extensive menu focused on items well suited to watching a baseball game – namely, burgers, wings, and other fried things. Although the clientele attracted to this restaurant (at least on the night we visited) seemed more interested in having chugging contests at their table than watching the game, the overall experience was still positive.
