Restaurant Review: The Grand Sichuan, West Village

We recently set out in search of traditional “white tablecloth” Chinese food for a weeknight dinner. However, we were not in search of the typical greasy, heavy Chinese food (read: General Tso’s Chicken, Beef with Broccoli, etc) which admittedly has its own important place in our lives. For this night, we wanted good, relatively traditional, and most importantly spicy Chinese food.
